It sounds weird but locals love to buy their chicken with its feet and head on (or even with its internal parts).
Đông Ba is the biggest market in my hometown and seriously you can find from a needle to an elephant here. When I was a little girl, my favorite part of this marketplace is the central one where you could find a lot of stuffs that a little girl would love such as clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, etc. As time passes by, my interest has changed. I’m now fond of the fresher side of it the most, I meant the area where you can shop ingredients for your dinner such meat, fish, legumes, vegetables and fruits. Do check the back of Đông Ba Market if you happen to be in Huế and would love to see what the locals buy for their daily meals, or to find out what seasonal fruits are available around this time, or to simply enjoy the vivid and beautiful colors of the fresh produces here.
Let’s follow the grandma in the picture right below to start a quick tour through the fresh stalls.
